Jeremy Furr is Vice President of Strategic Sourcing for Stryten Energy, a provider of stored electrical-energy solutions for transportation and industrial markets. He leads the Strategic Sourcing and Procurement as well as the Engineered Components sales team. His teams are responsible for the purchasing of lead (scrap and tolled), recycled plastic chips and resin, premium metals, purchased batteries and the chemicals used in our manufacturing plants. Mr. Furr and his team also manage the allocation of customer core returns and the scrap purchased on the open market. His sales team for Engineered Components is responsible for growing share and improving customer satisfaction thru high-quality solutions for the energy storage segment. Mr. Furr is a member of the Association of Battery Recyclers (ABR).
Mr. Furr has more than 20 years experience in the energy industry in various leadership roles. His experience includes sourcing leadership roles at General Electric (in the Gas Power, Power Services, Oil & Gas and Renewable Energy groups), as well as quality and operations management for GE’s nuclear energy business. Prior to GE, he held quality and manufacturing leadership roles at Spectrum Dyed Yarns.
Mr. Furr is Six Sigma Greenbelt certified and received his Bachelor of Science from North Carolina State University.
