Transportation Battery Components
We offer our customers the most extensive product line of plastic injection molded battery components for automotive, commercial and special applications (golf, scrubber, marine, etc.). These components are built for starting, lighting and ignition (SLI) grade batteries.
SLI Plastic Battery Containers
Plastic battery boxes are the most cost-effective way to secure a battery for many applications, including automotive, commercial, industrial and stand-by applications. All containers are manufactured for heat sealing, however most are also available with special order for epoxy sealing. Container options offer the Optima Handle accessory.
SLI Plastic Battery Covers
Battery covers are safety relevant components. Together with the lower housing, they separate the batteries from the rest of the vehicle. They shield against electromagnetic radiation and protect against the penetration of liquids and foreign objects.
SLI Plastic Battery Vents
Stryten offers a complete line of pod vents and manifold vents to fit various styles of batteries and allow hydrogen gas to release safely. For vehicle applications that have the battery installed inside the passenger compartment, the battery must be vented properly.
SLI Lead Battery Terminals
Our battery terminals produce a clean and bright post for the finished battery and eliminate porous surfaces to prevent corrosion. The patented SuperLock cold-form terminals and SuperLock seal, along with our lug design, provide extraordinary sealing and torque values.
SLI Plastic Battery-Grade Polypropylene
Stryten supplies battery-grade polypropylene for injection molding battery components for both OE and replacement battery containers, covers, vents and other products. T-1200, T-1201, T-1202, T-1205 pelletized polypropylene for injection molding is available.
SLI Plastic Battery Handles & Terminal Protectors
Battery terminal protectors prevent corrosion on your auto/boat/truck battery terminals and cable ends. Terminal protectors help restore battery power and maintain proper alternator charging.
Motive Power and Essential Power Battery Components
For your industrial, motive and essential power battery needs, Stryten offers a complete narrow line for batteries from 5-plate to 33-plate. We offer fixed terminals, O-rings, grommets, epoxy well cover options, as well as 27 mm bayonet covers, and other vent-well options. Our fixed terminal covers are supplied with cold form terminals for superior, long-lasting performance. Battery grade reprocessed polypropylene is used as applicable, to contribute to the recyclability of batteries. We also provide a full product line in flame retardant V2, V0 or Virgin Copolymer.
Motive and Essential Power Battery Jars
Injection molded jars are available in a variety of materials including reprocessed polypropylene, standard grade polypropylene and flame retardant materials. Applications include motive power (traction), UPS, telecom and special applications.
