Stryten Energy Recognized by Kansas House of Representatives for 50 Years of Manufacturing Excellence

Kansas Representative Steven Howe

Salina, Kansas, March 30, 2026 – Stryten Energy announced today that the Kansas House of Representatives has issued House Resolution No. 6036, honoring the company’s 50 years of manufacturing at its Salina, Kansas, plant.  The Resolution acknowledges the company’s long-standing contributions to the economic vitality, workforce development and community strength of Salina and the State of Kansas.

The Resolution recognizes Stryten Energy’s five decades of battery manufacturing in Salina, where the company assembles batteries for key industry sectors including automotive, marine, recreation, heavy‑duty truck and lawn-and‑garden for use across the United States. Today, Stryten Energy employs more than 700 people in Saline County, supporting Kansas families and strengthening the regional economy.

House Resolution No. 6036 highlights Stryten Energy’s strong community connections through civic engagement and volunteer service, including participation in the Smoky Hill River Festival, the downtown Salina Christmas Parade, the Parade of Lights, the Fe for a Cure Race, and contributions to Project Salina’s annual food drive. It also acknowledges the company’s ongoing engagement with Kansas technical schools and universities to promote advanced manufacturing careers and workforce development.

“We are honored to be recognized by the Kansas House of Representatives for our 50‑year commitment to manufacturing excellence in Salina,” said Rodger Meyer, Executive Vice President of Operations. “This resolution reflects the dedication of our employees and the strong partnership we have with the Salina community. We look forward to continuing our mission of innovation, resilience and leadership in energy storage technologies.”

Stryten Energy’s contributions to the domestic energy supply chain, including battery recycling and closed-loop manufacturing technologies, were also recognized as important in strengthening U.S. energy security.

“It was an honor to present this Resolution recognizing Stryten Energy’s 50 years of manufacturing in Salina. For five decades, the company has shown a deep commitment to our community and the families who live and work here,” said Representative Steven Howe. “Stryten Energy’s work not only strengthens our state, but also supports our domestic supply chain and contributes to our nation’s energy and security independence. I’m proud to acknowledge their long‑standing role in helping Salina and Kansas continue to grow and thrive.”

The resolution was sponsored by Representative Steven Howe and formally adopted by the Kansas House on March 11, 2026.
