Leadership Team

Melissa Floyd is Chief Corporate Marketing and Communications Officer for Stryten Energy, responsible for leading the company’s communications, government affairs, public relations, digital marketing, social media, content development and brand strategy. Ms. Floyd has more than 20 years of marketing and communications experience, including seven years in the stored energy industry. Prior to Stryten Energy, Ms. Floyd worked in the data and software industries, where she was responsible for industry analyst relations, corporate marketing, customer research, acquisition integration, and strategic communications. She received her Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration, Marketing Concentration, from Auburn University.

Ms. Floyd serves on the Military Power Sources Consortium Board of Directors, the Auto Care Association Government Affairs Committee, and as the Chairman of the Battery Council International (BCI) Government Affairs Committee. She also serves on the BCI Communications and Marketing committees and is a founding member of Women in the Global Battery Industry.
