Leadership Team

Melissa Floyd is Chief Corporate Marketing and Communications Officer for Stryten Energy, responsible for leading the company’s marketing and communications, government affairs, public relations and brand strategy. Ms. Floyd has more than 20 years of marketing and communications experience, including 8 years in the energy storage industry. Prior to Stryten Energy, she worked in the data and software industries, where she was responsible for marketing, industry analyst relations, customer research, acquisition integration, and strategic communications. She earned her degree in Marketing from Auburn University.

Ms. Floyd serves on the Military Power Sources Consortium Board of Directors, the Auto Care Association Government Affairs Committee, and as the Chairman of the Battery Council International (BCI) Government Affairs Committee. She also serves on the BCI Communications and Marketing committees and is a founding member of Women in the Global Battery Industry. She was named an honoree in Ragan’s Top Women in Marketing Awards, Class of 2025.
