Stryten Energy is proud to announce its “Mighty Stryten” videos received two ADDY Awards from the Atlanta Ad Club. The video campaign, which included three 45-second videos titled “Sailor,” “Rocker” and “Coach,” received a Bronze ADDY Award, and the “Sailor” video won a Bronze ADDY individually in the social content category. The Mighty Stryten video campaign was part of the Stryten Energy brand launch initiative for the company. The videos were debuted in conjunction with the AAPEX trade show last fall to drive awareness for the Stryten name and that we make #darngoodbatteries for the automotive aftermarket industry.
“This is a significant honor for Stryten,” said Melissa Floyd, Vice President of Communications. “There was not a standalone B2B category to enter, so our videos were competing against top consumer brands from the Atlanta area, such as Coca-Cola, Aflac, AT&T, Porsche and all the Atlanta sports teams.”
The Atlanta Ad Club typically receives about 400 entries from metro Atlanta ad agencies and freelancers. The judges for this year’s Atlanta Addy Awards included a diverse mix of Agency Creative Directors, Brand Marketing Professionals and acclaimed Advertising and Public Relations professionals from New York, Massachusetts, Florida, New Jersey and Illinois.
Founded in 1909, the Atlanta Ad Club serves the Greater Atlanta advertising community. The mission of the Atlanta Ad Club is to celebrate creativity and thought leadership, create unique experiences, and connect Atlanta’s advertising community by inspiring and learning from one another. The club includes more than 300 members and is the local chapter of the American Advertising Federation.
“A special thanks to Stryten’s creative partner, Stakeholder Marketing & Media, for developing and producing these videos,” said Floyd. “Stakeholder works closely with us to understand our business and the message we want to deliver to the market. That collaboration is why these videos were so successful.”
